It is New Years Eve. We had a relaxing day (kind of all played out from all our walking around) to prep for it and spent the night on the beach with the ocean in the background. The Pier had a huge party going on with 4 bands playing and the boys were busy setting up a camp fire for us to enjoy. We set up beside some folks who had fireworks so that was fun. They were very friendly and shared some of their fireworks with Curtis.

We even had a guy walk up to us when he noticed our fire going out & offer up a skid to help our fire out. We immediately thought of Sam from the camp. We actually thought of all our friends at the camp. We missed them but not the cold weather. It was a great way to ring in the new year. We were feeling very blessed as we had gone through so much over the past number of weeks, this vacation and being with family was extra special for us this year. We are looking forward to 2014.
