Aloha - Day 12 (Christmas Day)

We wondered if Santa would find us way over here in the middle of paradise and with not chimney to come down but fortunately we have this big lanai for him to sneak in on and he knew exactly where we were.  Curtis gave him good clues when sitting on his knee before we left.

The boys were up early to open their stockings then we went down for a quick coffee with Randy & Barbara to give them their presents.  Came back for traditional X-mas breakfast, then had enjoyed present time with the Ellinghams.  It was an awesome time and for some strange reason none of us seem to miss the cold or snow :)
It was off for a nap for the girls and a quick dip in the pool for the boys and then we were off to the Lu'au at the King Kamehameha Hotel.  We started off with some light drizzle but fortunately it dropped off for the show and we all really enjoyed the show (and us adults really enjoyed the unlimited mai thai's :)
We all try to cover up with towels from the only rain we've seen - figures :)
A bad day in Hawaii is better than a good day anywhere else!

The boys came over to us after everything was all over and gave us both big hugs saying how cool the lu'au was.  They said thanks so much for the very best X-mas eeeeever!  What great kids we have and how lucky we are to be able to enjoy such a special day in such a wonderful way.  Truly blessed!!
